- Playing the Game
- ================
- When you load Solitare (by double-clicking on its icon) the program will
- install itself on the icon bar and open a window showing the board. You can
- now play the game by dragging the red pegs from one hole to the next. You
- can only move by jumping over a piece into an empty square and you cannot go
- diagonally. The piece jumped over is removed. To win, you must end up with
- just one peg in the centre hole.
-
- If you close the board's window, you can re-open it by clicking on
- Solitare's icon located on the right hand side of the icon bar. Use the menu
- button to start a new game or kill the application. The Undo option deletes
- the last move you made and is useful for correcting small mistakes.
